OSPPARIS 2A: Accelerated First-Year French Part 2

FrenLang 2 is the second part of the series. In FrenLang 2, students will expand their vocabulary and the range of conversations in which they can participate. They will learn to narrate in the past, present and future time frames. They will also learn how to construct more complex sentences in both the affirmative and negative forms. They will learn how to order a meal, ask questions, make comparisons and recommendations as well as describe one's daily routine and make requests. This course also aims to provide students with a deeper understanding of French culture and society. To achieve this goal, each class meeting will begin with an activity, “what’s new,” during which students will practice their oral expression and share useful information that they have learned about French culture. To complement this activity, students will create an oral presentation on an aspect of French culture.
